There is a Reason for Everything and Everyone

There is a Reason for Everything and Everyone

This entry is fitting for today. Feburary 29 - Leap Year Day. A day filled with blessings. Blessings of life. Blessings of relationships. Blessings of love. Blessings of time. Blessings of life.

While the past year and the beginning of this year has been filled with so much emotion, learnings, knowledge, education and blessings – I can’t be thankful enough for what has been given to me. You all will know that my use of Social Media is not for pleasure or boredom. Rather I use Social Media to engage, to meet, to interact, to converse and more importantly build relationships on a whole new level. Twitter opens the door for that. It opens to door to meeting new people..virtually. No face to face. No phone calls. No judgements. Nothing. Just pure words and exchange of ideas/thoughts/dreams.

Once in a while, you meet someone special. Someone new. Someone you never thought would enter your life. But when they do, it comes with no pre-conceived notion. No judgement. No expectations. Just pure open heart, open arms and open ears. And what happens after that, is inexplicable. People will think I’m nuts. I’m stupid. I’m naive. To trust so easily and talk so openly. But you know, when you meet people who don’ t care about what you look like, how much money you have, where you work or what car you drive – it is that simple, genuine, true character attribute you crave for in this chaotic world.

These types of people come into your life for a REASON, a SEASON or a LIFE TIME.
No matter on what level you interact, connect or meet; when you know which one it is, you will know what to do for that person. So here are my deeper thoughts:

When someone is in your life for a REASON, it’s usually to meet a need you have expressed. They have come to assist you though a difficulty. To provide you with guidance and support. To aid you physically, emotionally or spiritually. They may seem like a godsend and they are. They are there for the reason you need them to be.

Some people come into your life for a SEASON. Because your turn has come to share, grow or learn. They bring you an experience of peace or make you laugh. They may teach you something you have never done. They usually give you an unbelievable amount of joy. Believe it, it is real. But sometimes it is only temporary. Don’t be sad or afraid. These people come into your life for a SEASON, but have high tendencies to come back in different shapes or forms.

And then, lastly, LIFE TIME Relationships teach you life time lessons things you must built upon in order to have a solid emotional foundation. You job is to accept the lesson. Love the person and put what you have learned to use in all other relationships and are as of your life. It is said often, that Love is Blind but Friendship is Clairvoyant.

‘So to all of you who have or continue to enter my life, in whatever way you do, I thank you for being a part of my life. Whether you came into my before, now or in the future, I embrace you.

More importantly, for the past year and for the past month. To those of you who have entered my life and shared so much with me in such a short period of time. To the point of being close friends, rather than acquaintances, I thank you. I love you. I accept you. Let us share. Let us talk. Let us believe that we have encountered each other for a particular reason.

Let us believe that a Higher Form of being has aligned stars and planets to allow us to  meet.

Whether you are a REASON, a SEASON or a LIFE TIME…I will always consider you a true friend. Genuine. Thru and thru. And will embrace everything that comes my way. As I truly believe that you have entered for a particular reason. What that reason is, we don’ t know. But I trust in that reason and look forward to this journey to a destination unknown.

Thank you.

I believe in happy ever afters, whether they’re in books or life. I believe that the world is an occasional scary place, one where we need to carve out caves of safety. I believe in the power of the human spirit. I believe it’s a sin to be bored in a world filled with information, beauty, and fascinating things around us. I believe in making a positive difference – everyday – in the lives of everyone I meet. No judgements. No ego. No expectations. Making a difference in just ONE life means that ONE life made better. God Bless.

I first met Asif on Twitter. I had just walked away from one of the worst car shopping experiences I'd ever had (a Kia dealership) and *tweeted* it. Very soon after I received a tweet back from this "Asif Premji" guy. "Sorry to hear your car buying experience wasn't more positive - what are you looking for?"

This was the first of many messages which has lead to not only the purchase (six months later) of a new Honda Civic Si for my wife but a professional and loyal relationship with Asif and his team.

There is outstanding customer experience and then there is the unexpected and appreciated *Asif* level of customer experience.

I would not hesitate to do or refer business with Asif and his team. By far one of the most enjoyable and confident car buying experiences in my lifetime.

At Okotoks Honda I witnessed, "I actually give a $&@# about my customer", not just in words but in every day actions, long before I purchased a care and ever since. This is what I would call, Integrity in ACTION. It's not about the one off sale for them, Asif and his team truly understand the lifetime value of a single customer.

If you're going to buy a Honda, it's well worth the trip to Okotoks and buy from anyone on Asif's team
